COMMERCE STUDENTS - ARE THEY WORTH FOR THE INDIAN ECONOMY

COMMERCE one of the most opted stream in our country by the students. Commerce is the stream opted by the students to study about business and they are even studying the business but what they study, makes them worth for Indian Economy?

 

This question arises in my mind after viewing the students, working persons and the teachers ( except very few ) related to the field of commerce. This is one of the important question not only for our country but for all those country where the slavery education system and a two generation old thought possess in the mind of people.

Today in our country commerce itself has become a problem. confused? Here's why. When a student passed class 10 and opts for the commerce, a figure of weak in studies and a bad boy sticks with him because of the age old mentality of our so called known elders. And after this the main problem comes which arouses this question in my mind and i.e the education system and teachers.

Today our economy has transformed from age old stagnant economy to robust economy and all over the world wants to invest in our robust economy and if we have a human resource of commerce student having both quality and quantity, we have the potential to become supreme power.       But teachers and education system are the obstacles in the process. Again confused,that how these two precious things have become obstacles. practically the both are not obstacles but require transformation.

Our education system created during colonial period now required a huge transformation and even the mentality of the teachers also need to be transformed as with this mentality we can only be a slave not a supreme power.

Here is an irony to make it more clear to you. As we all know that commerce has subjects accountancy, economics, business studies and entrepreneurship and all this subjects teach you about business and its operations. Now the students learn about the business, study about the operations of the business but never discuss about the business nor even the case studies about the business. All they have to score maximum percentage get a good college , do a professional course either CA, CS or CMA and then get a job and work for a business organisation and help it to make profit. 

Look at the irony in this para. the students who are studying business never discuss about business or even a case study and even they never thought of becoming the entrepreneurs of their own life. And for this the teachers are main responsible for following the generation back thought of becoming an employee of the company. They never encourage the students to implement what they learn in practical world rather they discourage and insult anyone who wants to do it. The age old thought which requires transformation is responsible for this which is disguise in the name very auspicious name for us i.e TEACHER.

You might not agree with me as you have not experienced it but have a look over India or in your nearby locality you'll be definetly  find this problem prominent in our society which prohibits the growth of our nation.

This is one of the major problem of country. 
Now for a minute, think of the situation when this problem is solved and we have the human resource of the students and working persons of commerce field who have divine knowledge of business, and with this knowledge we can rule over the world and become a super power. 


As we all know that the country having its large number of work force in business field is said to be more developed and advanced.

And even business can also lead  to growth of science, knowledge and everything as it brings money in our economy, boosts our economy and even integrates the world which helps in the free flow of knowledge.

There are many advantages and benefits if commerce students' current situation is changed and all the obstacles are removed.

By changing the rules of education system, age-old mentality of the teachers and developing an ecosystem where the students can practically learn about the business and discuss about the business we can change the whole figure of our nation and this is very important, so that we can utilize our work force and human resource efficiently and effectively.
